Whistleblowing is the reporting made by a person who, in the public or private working context, becomes aware of violations of national or European Union regulatory provisions which harm the public interest or the integrity of the public administration or the private entity. Legislative Decree 24/2023 provides that public sector and private sector entities activate their own reporting channels that guarantee the confidentiality of the identity of the reporting person, the person involved and the person mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report and the related documentation. The application solution adopted is fully compliant with the provisions on whistleblowing.
